Interview & Hire Process

  • It all starts with getting to know you, your company, your team and your opening. Our three part Discovery Meeting covers 1) what you are looking for, 2) what you’ve have to offer (which goes beyond $ & benefits), and 3) how to best partner together through the interview and hiring process.

  • As your representative to the talent market, we confidentially market the overall opportunity to selected professionals based on your search requirements and preferences.

  • Once we have identified and narrowed a list of potential candidates, we’ll preview each one I depth to determine the 2-3 best suited for progress to interviews.

  • Prior to any interview with a candidate, you will have time to review and investigate their resume, career, social media, etc.

    Additionally, we’ll meet to cover specifics about each candidate, their requirements and preferences, what they would like to learn in the process, as well as how to best present the overall opportunity should your interest grow during the interview.

  • Finally, you meet with the candidate(s) to determine what they can truly offer you and the company, as well as answer their questions.

    This is also an opportunity to position yourself, the company, the position, the team, and the benefits & advantages of working there to those candidates you favor. In this highly competitive talent market, think candidate experience.

  • Post each interview, we will meet to discuss in depth how the interview went, what you learned, what you like and dislike, and if there’s interest to progress in the process.

    We also meet with the candidate to capture their feedback on the interview, interest level, competition and desires next steps, which we will pass along.

  • Once we make it through the rounds of interviews, and interest is high, we assist in final selection with information to help determine the likelihood of an accepted offer.

    Leveraging the information we have of the finalist’s overall search circumstances, we will assist in crafting an appropriate offer of employment that will secure your top choice of talent.

    Finally, we will advise you throughout any negotiation process that may taken place. Our internal insights and relationship with the candidate enables a more open, transparent, and amicable negotiation for all parties. One of the key benefits of working with a seasoned search executive.

  • The interviewing and hiring process may have concluded, but the relationship has not. In our humble efforts to assist your new employee and you with the transition, we will periodically check-in with each. On the rare occasion an issue develops that may jeapordize employment tenure, we’ll assist in clarifying the issue(s) and finding a proper resolution for all. Consider this an extension of the placement guarantee.
